It contains an offering of some free benefits related to the niche which you have targeted. If the customer does not intent to buy anything, you can still sell to that person at another day. Visiting your page means that people will come back someday. Keep providing value and promoting to at a later date.

This trend is effective in internet marketing since when a customer leaves before getting her on the list; she will visit your page again.
